QUALIFICATIONS: AMPP CP1 - Cathodic Protection Test (formerly NACE CP1) OR AMPP CP2 - Cathodic Protection Technician (Formerly NACE CP2) Certification Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen Reliable transportation and valid driver's license are required (paid mileage offered) Entry-level to nominally two years of relevant hands-on work experience Functional in the use of Cathodic protection inspection equipment and troubleshooting of various CP protection systems Pay Range: $35.00-40.00/hour with comprehensive benefits package and per diem for travel. Hourly rate is based on experience and certifications. Physical Requirements This position requires the ability to perform cathodic protection inspections, read drawings for test station locations, and record data. Writing, speaking, seeing and hearing are also required, however, accommodations can be made for a qualified candidate. Responsibilities
The Cathodic Protection Technician will assist in performing cathodic protection inspections across Maryland and Staten Island, NY. This includes reading drawings for test station locations and recording data.
