Description
Location: Aviano Air Base, Italy Position: Part-time Key Responsibilities: Develop and manage the Catholic religious education program in alignment with the Catholic Chaplain’s guidance. Organize and oversee Vacation Bible School (VBS), sacramental preparation classes (First Communion, Confirmation), and family faith formation activities. Provide guidance and mentorship to volunteers, students, and families within the Catholic faith community. Manage program scheduling, registration, and record-keeping. Maintain and distribute approved religious curriculum and educational resources. ​​​​Recruit, train, and supervise volunteer teachers to ensure effective religious instruction. Plan and coordinate weekly religious education classes, retreats, and seasonal programs such as Advent, Lent, and Holy Days. Qualifications & Requirements: Bachelor's degree in education, theology, or a related field OR at least five years of experience directing a Catholic religious education program. Strong leadership, volunteer management, and communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic administrative software. Ability to work independently while collaborating with the Catholic Chaplain and parish leadership. Note: We kindly request that all resumes be submitted in English.
