VJV auctions located in Westlock, AB is looking for a part-time clerk. The clerk will be responsible for data entry during sales, listening to the auctioneer to ensure accurate data entry, and verifying livestock manifests reflect the livestock being sold. Other responsibilities may include general office support as needed. This is fast paced will need the appropriate candidate to be able to handle pressure and fast computer skills.
Computer proficiency and a general knowledge of livestock is required as well as the ability to work long hours when required.
Hours vary.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Additional pay: Overtime after 8 hours

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Overtime
• Weekends as needed

QUALIFICATIONS

• Proficiency in English.
• Prior experience in livestock, knowledge of live auctions, computer proficiency preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize tasks.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
