JOB TITLE: EXPERIENCED CAVITY WALL TECHNICIAN

Location: Hull (Working away Monday to Friday)
Salary: £40,000 – £55,000 per year (dependent on achieving bonus targets)
Employment Type: Full-Time / Permanent

We are a specialist insulation and retrofit contractor delivering high-quality energy efficiency measures across the UK. As part of our continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Cavity Wall Technician to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on funded retrofit schemes, including the Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund (SHDF) and the Great British Insulation Scheme (GBIS), while making a real difference to households.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience as a Cavity Wall Technician (essential).
  • NVQ Level 2 in Insulation & Building Treatments (Cavity Wall Insulation).
  • Valid CSCS card.
  • Knowledge of PAS 2030/2035 compliance.
  • Asbestos Awareness and Manual Handling training (desirable).
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • ACOPS (Training available for the right candidate)

Responsibilities
  • Carry out Cavity Wall Insulation (CWI) installations and extractions to PAS 2030 standards.
  • Conduct pre-installation Building Surveys, identifying any issues such as damp, ventilation, or bridging.
  • Ensure all work is compliant with TrustMark and PAS 2035 requirements.
  • Operate specialist insulation equipment safely and effectively.
  • Complete evidence packs and maintain accurate job records for compliance.
  • Work professionally in residents’ homes, ensuring minimal disruption.
  • Adhere to all Health & Safety policies and procedures on site.
