Company Description Better Morning emerged as an outpatient behavioral health practice in Ashburn, VA in the year of 2014. In addition to providing counseling from the Ashburn office, Better Morning started off as a certified provider for intensive in home and community-based services (IHCBS), for at risk youth in District of Columbia. In August of 2017, Better Morning was certified as a Core service agency (CSA) by DC Department of Behavioral Health. Better morning founder’s passion for at risk youth and their family were the motivation to keep expanding the evidenced based programs to meet the need of the underserved population. Job Description Position Summary: Better Morning has immediate openings for full-time CBI II and CBI III roles in Washington, DC. Responsibilities: Responsible for providing clinical services as outlined by the policies and procedures of Better Morning. Carry a caseload of CBI cases and will be required to meet and engage them 5 times a week Provides services to youth and families in a culturally competent respectful manner Provides individual and family counseling Initiate CBI services within 24 hours of receiving the referral notification from supervisor Initiates Family Team Meeting within 7-14 days of referral Develops safety plan with the input of youth, family, and all stake holders Educates the family about CBI services and role of CBI clinicians and CBI team Explains the benefit of a team working with a family Provides 24- hour availability for youth and families Explain in detail to youth and family how crisis calls are handled 24/7 and the role of the CBI team Provides CBI services in home, school, and community Ensure the intensity of service meets the needs of the youth and family Participates in CBI required training curriculum Remains flexible to schedule sessions around youth and family’s availability Complete MUI report in case of unusual incidents Facilitate discharge team meetings including all stake holders Participate in individual and group supervision as scheduled Complete Relias and other required annual Trainings Assists with the implementation of program initiatives as directed by Supervisor. Qualifications Education: Master's (Required) Experience: Child & family counseling: 1 year (Preferred) CBI services: 1 year (Preferred) License/Certification: LGSW/LGPC/QMHP license (Required) Additional Information Compensation: Job Types: Full-time (1099) (40 hours) (8 hours shift): Hourly Rate: $60 per hour- In person- in the community Home and School. Responsibilities
