We are seeking to recruit skilled and experienced CBT Therapists to join our CAMHS under 14’s teams in Norfolk and Waveney. We have vacancies in our Central and West teams (based at Mary Chapman House) and a further vacancy in our East CAMHS team, based in Great Yarmouth.
We are looking for clinicians that are passionate about evidence based, person centred and collaborative practice. You will have excellent communication skills both verbal and written and enjoy being part of a Multi-Disciplinary Team.
It is an exciting time to join our CAMHS teams as we review our ways of working, to ensure our services are needs led, outcome informed and accessible for the young people within Norfolk and Waveney. We expect opportunities to be involved in providing specialist mental health care in a creative and innovative way, informed by overarching THRiVE principles.
We encourage applicants from varied backgrounds, including nursing, social work, occupational therapy and psychology.
In this role you will be required to provide specialist evidenced based assessment and therapeutic intervention to children and young people with mental health difficulties. We are currently working to implement newly aligned treatment pathways and have identified gaps in CBT provision.
You will be expected to work autonomously within professional guidelines, however will be a valued member of a multi-disciplinary team. You will at times offer advice and consultation on young people’s psychological care to colleagues and other agencies. To support your role in the team you will be provided with regular clinician supervision and opportunities for training and development.
