Your passion: This position is responsible for all food production and serving in the areas where school lunches will be served. This individual will maintain a heart to serve and share the love of Jesus to the next generation of believers. The School Lunch Server is responsible for the food preparations, for areas where school lunches will be served. Will have responsibilities to set-up, production, serving, and clean-up of the daily lunch program. There will be light prep work and will have to have the ability to lift 45lbs, able to use a kitchen knife for light cutting displaying the heart of a true servant of God, touching the lives of each of the children. You are: * Convinced a relationship with Jesus changes everything in a person’s life * Committed to keeping your family as your first ministry * Dedicated in your personal study of God’s Word * Consistently placing a high priority on worship and your personal prayer life * An excellent and generous steward of your personal finances * Obedient to God to take a Sabbath and make space for soul-keeping * Deeply compassionate towards people who are in need or hurting * Excited about global missions and local outreach - you want to change the world * A part of a healthy friendship community and accountability circle * Willing to give up personal pleasures and freedoms in order to live a life above reproach and that is aligned with our Leadership Covenant You will: * Basic knowledge of Kitchen standards, kitchen safety and health safety standards. * Daily set-up, clean up and tear down of school lunch areas: Cafeteria, Landing, Hub and assist at Barista if need. * Stocking the supplies, beverages, and food items before 10:45 am. * Prep and Produce Hot and Cold food items to be sold. * Responsible to clean up workstation, maintain rotate food and manage waste. * Responsible to handle food according to health safety standards at all times. * Work the register, ringing any item up properly on POS system, exchanging payment efficiently, accountable for money in drawer for your shift - count before and after. * Welcoming students and staff, helping them with their questions, serve them. You have: * Strong interpersonal skills – being relatable to young children and school staff. * Heart for the ministry. * Must have a strong work ethic to set an example for our children. * Must be Safe Staff Certified. * Job-related experience is desired. * Desire to serve. * Must have a strong work ethic to set an example for our children. * Great sense of urgency. * Able to accept and follow directions. * Able to work compatibly with others. * Strong interpersonal skills – being relatable to young children and school staff. * Flexible and able to handle multiple tasks. * Required to perform basic math, write routine documents and speak clearly. * Able to stand for long hours. * Ability to work with minimal supervision. * Keeps confidential matters confidential.
