JOB SUMMARY

Orbit Workforce Solutions are currently looking for an multiple experienced CCDO Labourers to join an ongoing demolition project in Grimsby. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a range of site-based demolition tasks, supporting project efficiency and safety at all times. This role requires a valid CCDO card, strong attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work well as part of a team.

REQUIREMENTS

  • A valid CCDO Card (essential)
  • Face Fit certification (essential)
  • Asbestos Awareness training (essential)
  • Previous experience working on demolition projects (minimum 1–2 years preferred)
  • Full PPE and ability to use basic demolition tools safely
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
  • Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
  • Physical stamina and strength to carry out manual demolition tasks for extended periods

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the safe setup and cleanup of demolition sites, ensuring all tools, equipment, and materials are correctly stored and accessible.
  • Carry out demolition-related manual tasks such as removing fixtures, fittings, and non-structural elements under supervision.
  • Segregate, sort, and safely remove waste and debris in line with environmental and site regulations.
  • Operate basic hand tools and demolition equipment in a safe and controlled manner.
  • Follow site supervisors’ instructions to complete tasks in line with project timelines and safety requirements.
  • Maintain strict adherence to health & safety protocols, including the correct use of PPE and dust control measures.
  • Work collaboratively with demolition operatives and other site staff to support smooth project delivery.
  • Promptly report any equipment issues, unsafe conditions, or hazards to supervisors.
