An exciting opportunity exists for a highly motivated and experienced Administration Officer to provide advanced administrative and operational support to the Nursing and Midwifery Directorate and associated portfolios.
This pivotal role operates in a dynamic and high-demand environment, requiring exceptional organisational, communication, and analytical skills. As the Administration Officer, you will work both autonomously and as part of a small, collaborative team, including close coordination with the Executive Assistant to the District Director.
You will contribute to the smooth running of a complex portfolio by ensuring high-quality administrative support, preparing detailed reports, and managing sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide high-level administrative support to the Nursing and Midwifery Directorate.
  • Coordinate schedules, meetings, agendas, and correspondence on behalf of the Nursing and Midwifery Directorate.
  • Work closely with the Nurse Manager Strategy and Operations and Manager Emergency Planning Response support broader strategic and operational initiatives.
  • Prepare, format, and distribute reports, briefs, and analytical data related to nursing and midwifery performance.
  • Manage and maintain databases, records, and reporting systems with accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of administrative procedures that enhance efficiency.
  • Liaise professionally with internal and external stakeholders across various departments.
