Central Coast Local Health District (CCLHD) are looking for a warm, compassionate, and professional Administrative Officer (Level 3) to join our dedicated Paediatric Outpatient team at Wyong Hospital.

VACCINATION REQUIREMENTS

All NSW Health workers are required to comply with the Occupational Assessment, Screening and Vaccination Against Specified Infectious Diseases Policy Directive (PD2024_015). This includes:

  • Category A positions: Mandatory evidence of protection against specified infectious diseases, including annual influenza vaccination and tuberculosis assessment.

ABOUT THE ROLE

In this frontline position, you’ll be the welcoming face and reassuring voice for children and families visiting our outpatient unit. You’ll play a vital role in creating a calm, friendly, and supportive experience — often during times of uncertainty.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Greeting and checking in patients and families
  • Answering phone calls and handling enquiries with professionalism and empathy
  • Managing appointment bookings and inbox communication
  • Supporting clinical teams with smooth administrative processes
  • Ensuring families feel informed, heard, and supported throughout their visit
