Central Coast Local Health District (CCLHD) is offering a permanent full-time opportunity for a Clinical Nurse Specialist Grade 2 (CNS2) Child & Family Health to lead and support early intervention, health promotion, and family-centered care for children and their families in our community.

VACCINATION REQUIREMENTS

All NSW Health workers are required to comply with the Occupational Assessment, Screening and Vaccination Against Specified Infectious Diseases Policy Directive (PD2024_015). This includes:

  • Category A positions: Mandatory evidence of protection against specified infectious diseases, including annual influenza vaccination and tuberculosis assessment.
  • Category B positions: Vaccination is recommended but not mandatory.

Responsibilities
  • The CNS2 Child & Family Health, is responsible for delivering complex specialist nursing care and leading development of specialist clinical practice in relation to health screening, assessment and an advisory service to families with children aged 0 to 5 years.
  • The CNS2 has a leadership role in service delivery to provide effective quality care for clients with complex care needs, infant feeding, developmental assessment, facilitation of groups and promote practice development and quality initiatives that enhance best practice.
  • Hours of work: Monday to Friday 8.00am to 16.30pm.
