Central Coast Local Health District (CCLHD) is looking for a passionate and experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist Grade 2 to fill a Temporary Full-Time position within our Drug & Alcohol Hospital Consultation Liaison team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a supportive, multidisciplinary service committed to improving health outcomes for patients affected by substance use.
Full-time hours are preferred, though part-time hours may be considered.

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Clinical Nurse Specialist Grade 2, you’ll use your advanced skills to provide expert care to patients with more complex needs, following the professional standards set by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
You will take a leadership role while working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team, acting as a clinical expert, professional role model and change agent.
Workdays: Monday to Friday

About You

  • Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), with relevant post-registration qualifications and at least 3 years’ experience working in the clinical area of their specified post-graduate qualification, or such other qualifications or equivalent experience deemed appropriate by the public hospital or public health organisation.
