VACCINATION REQUIREMENTS

Responsibilities

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:

  • Deliver advanced, evidence-based mental health interventions in a fast-paced Emergency Department, using expert clinical judgment to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients experiencing acute mental health crises
  • Provide expert clinical leadership by serving as a role model for professional excellence, offering mentorship, clinical supervision, and practical guidance to help staff grow their skills and confidence in mental health care delivery
  • Advocate for patients, ensuring their voices are heard, their rights are respected, and their needs are central to care decisions. You will work to remove barriers to care, facilitate clear communication between patients, families, and the healthcare team, and promote a culture of dignity, respect, and compassion.
  • Balance autonomy with collaboration, exercising sound independent judgment while actively contributing to a resilient, adaptable, and high-functioning multidisciplinary team.
  • Champion continuous improvement by leading and participating in quality initiatives, pursuing ongoing professional development, and integrating emerging evidence and innovations into practice to continually improve patient outcomes and experiences
