Description SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Leads Cable Shop Technicians in testing, inspecting and loading and unloading ESP cable. SPECIFIC DUTIES, ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: Ensure testing and inspection procedures are completed to ensure the product is in accordance with SOP’s. Training new employees on handling ESP cable and testing processes. Oversee loading/unloading ESP cable on to spools and transportation vehicles. Assist with monitoring inventory for accuracy and inventory levels. Ensure employees adhere to corporate policies regarding security and safety in order to maintain a safe working environment. Investigate causes of lost or damaged equipment. Requirements EHS REQUIREMENTS: Complete all work in a safe manner and follow all safety requirements consistent with supporting the company's TRIR goals Follow all environmental requirements consistent with supporting the company's environmental performance goals Complete, and actively participate in all of the company's EHS training requirements POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Requires a High School diploma or general education degree (GED) A clean driving record is required for vehicle operators. 2-3 years’ ESP experience is preferred Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos Ability to write simple correspondence as required Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals Basic hand tool proficiency Basic computer skills required to operate computerized test equipment Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds A combination of the above qualifications will also be considered PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to stand for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Must be able to safely bend, reach, kneel, twist, and grip items while working at area. Must have the manual dexterity and coordination to operate hand tools and mechanical tools. Must be able to work at a fast pace. Must be able to tolerate changing priorities, and complete assignments despite frequent interruptions. Must be able to respond to visual and oral cues. Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English. WORK ENVIRONMENT: Work environment is typically considered within an ELS location during normal or extended business hours.
