Description Program/Department: Gateway Fellowship / Crosspoint School Job Title: Elementary Principal Reports To: Head of School Location: Poulsbo Campus Job Overview: We are hiring for the 2026-2027 school year an Elementary Principal who will serve as the instructional and administrative leader of Crosspoint Christian School, ensuring academic excellence, student welfare, and alignment with Christian values across all grade levels. This role requires a leader dedicated to fostering a positive school culture, supporting faculty and staff, and engaging with the community to advance the school's mission. As a member of the Gateway OneTeam, you will support and demonstrate an understanding of the church’s mission: Helping people take their next step toward Christ. Key qualifications include possessing a character that reflects biblical godliness and demonstrates a meaningful, personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Job Status/Schedule: Full-time; 40 hrs/week; 52 wks/year Pay: $80,200 - $94,000, Exempt Benefits: Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance, Life insurance, Sick, Vacation and Holiday pay, Tuition discount at all Crosspoint Christian School campuses. Key Responsibilities Provide leadership for the Poulsbo elementary program, ensuring that academic standards and student success are met. Supervise, evaluate, and support all Poulsbo faculty and staff, fostering professional growth and collaboration. Collaborate with the Head of School to develop and implement policies that align with Christian principles and promote a safe, inclusive learning environment. Work with the Head of School on faculty and staff recruitment, retention, and professional development Maintain regular and effective communication with faculty, staff, students, parents, and the wider community. Collaborate with the administrative team to regularly assess curriculum effectiveness and implement a structured rotation cycle to ensure content remains relevant, engaging, and aligned with educational standards. Support admissions efforts by conducting student interviews, assessing readiness, and collaborating with the admissions team to facilitate a smooth enrollment process. Create and manage the daily and yearly class schedules to support smooth classroom operations, balanced teacher assignments, and strong academic experience for all students. Willing to assist with Bremerton campus administrative tasks and collaborate with the full K-12 leadership team, including during summer planning and preparation months. Qualifications Master’s degree preferred, with school administrator credentials or a minimum of three (3) years of educational leadership experience. Personal relationship with Jesus Christ and active involvement at Gateway Fellowship. Demonstrated commitment to Christian education and integrating faith into daily school life. Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills. Experience in crisis management and conflict resolution within a school setting. Ability to lead, mentor, and develop faculty both spiritually and professionally. Experience fostering a positive, Christ-centered school culture and strong community partnerships. Commitment to advancing the school’s mission and vision. Knowledge of accreditation processes (e.g., ACSI) and academic standards. Understanding of child development, diverse learning needs, and inclusive instructional practices. Proficiency with school management systems and educational technology. Experience in teacher supervision, evaluation, and professional development.
