SURVEILLANCE & MONITORING STATION OPERATOR- FULL-TIME MONDAY TO FRIDAY OVERNIGHT - BURQUITLAM (CLOSE TO SKYTRAIN)

The Surveillance & Monitoring Station Operator monitors and responds to all incoming video and regular alarms and will dispatch a mobile security personnel or a relevant 9-1-1 emergency respondent to different sites in the Greater Vancouver Region. In addition, the Operator will answer emergency calls from clients and will promptly refer to a solution or connect to a facility management team for further action.

• Monitoring and dispatching on live crime in progress via video.
• Monitoring the alarm events, identifying the causes, and dispatching mobile patrol or 9-1-1 respondents when necessary.
• Handling incoming and outgoing calls.
• Analyze information, determine, and collect important details, provide guidance to the customers with their inquiries, and prioritize and resolve issues.
• Maintain accurate records of incidents, actions taken, and any communication with security teams or authorities.
• Adhere to the established operation protocols, and relevant legislation (e.g. PIPA).
  Compensation: $20 per hour
  Schedule: Monday to Friday, midnight to 8 am
