JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a skilled CCTV Commissioning Engineer with proven experience in the oil and gas sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, configuration, testing, and commissioning of CCTV systems, particularly in hazardous environments requiring explosion-proof equipment.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or related engineering field
• Minimum 5 years of CCTV commissioning experience, preferably in oil & gas or industrial settings
• Hands-on knowledge of IP-based CCTV systems, video management software (VMS), and fiber optic/data cabling
• Familiarity with explosion-proof camera systems (e.g., Hikvision, Bosch, Pelco Ex-proof series)
• Strong understanding of hazardous area classification and installation practices in Zone 1/Zone 2 environments
• Ability to interpret wiring diagrams, layout drawings, and network schematics
• Valid H2S/BOSIET certification preferred

PREFERRED SKILLS:

• Knowledge of network security and VLANs for video surveillance
• Experience with offshore or refinery CCTV deployments

Experience:

• CCTV Commissioning : 5 years (Required)

Expected Start Date: 10/09/202

• Commission, configure, and troubleshoot industrial-grade CCTV systems including explosion-proof cameras and network video recorders (NVRs)
• Ensure systems meet industry safety standards (e.g., ATEX, IECEx) and client-specific requirements
• Integrate CCTV with control room systems (SCADA/DCS) and ensure seamless video feed and recording
• Conduct FAT/SAT (Factory/Site Acceptance Testing), prepare commissioning reports, and update technical documentation
• Provide technical support during project execution and handover
• Work closely with project managers, vendors, and client engineers for compliance and coordination
• Perform cable testing, IP configuration, PTZ camera calibration, and video analytics setup where applicable
