We are looking for an experienced and motivated CCTV Engineer to join our growing CCTV team, supporting security operations across BBV construction sites. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled professional to take ownership of CCTV system installations and maintenance, ensuring all projects are delivered to the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.
In this role, you will oversee the installation and servicing of CCTV systems and other security equipment, ensuring compliance with company and industry standards. You will work closely with fellow engineers to deliver timely, high-quality solutions, while maintaining clear communication with site teams and stakeholders. A customer-focused approach and a strong understanding of technical requirements will be essential to your success.
To be successful, you will have a minimum of 4–5 years’ experience in the security sector, with a focus on Hikvision CCTV systems, networking at Level 4, and general security solutions. You should have previous experience working on construction sites and a strong understanding of site Health and Safety policies and procedures. Proficiency in the installation and maintenance of CCTV systems and intruder alarms is essential, as is solid knowledge of cabling, electrical systems, and fault-finding techniques.
A full UK driving licence is required, with a C+E licence considered an advantage. Candidates must hold a valid CSCS or ECS card. An SSSTS qualification is desirable but not essential. Strong problem-solving skills, the ability to remain calm under pressure, and excellent interpersonal and communication abilities are key attributes we are looking for. You should be confident working both independently and collaboratively within a team, and capable of making informed decisions on-site.
