JOB SUMMARY

Taurus are an established Security Solutions business based in the North West. Our company has been operating for over 20 years and we have a portfolio of clients across the UK. We are seeking a skilled CCTV Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of closed-circuit television systems, Alarms and access control systems.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Maintaining a working knowledge of IP systems and related software
  • Servicing the latest IP/Analogue CCTV, intruder alarm and access controlequipment in the field
  • Maintaining accurate records of paperwork and customer, company, and personal information
  • Ensuring van stock is maintained.
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time.
  • An impeccable record of attendance and punctuality to ensure minimum disruption to the business and the client.
  • Is personally responsible for maintaining company standards whilst on site or on the road.
  • Able to work as part of a team or alone.
  • Training customers on how to operate our products.
  • Adhere to all health and safety requirements.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role with maintenance & installation experience
  • Full Driving License
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Solid working knowledge of Hikvision, Texecom and Paxton systems
  • Cable installation cat5 cat6
  • CSCS ( essential)
  • SSSTS (not essential)
  • IPAF -Preferred
    Must be flexible and good at problem solving
    Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: £25,000.00-£38,000.00 per year

Responsibilities

ROLE:

The role will see you operating from our Head Office based in Manchester with the majority of jobs in the North West. You will sometimes be required to travel the UK to complete installations, where accommodation is needed this will be provided. You will be provided with a fully expensed vehicle to complete your work. The role will include installations, repairs and maintenance.
