JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled CCTV Technician. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of CCTV systems and related equipment. This is a contract based job.

EXPERIENCE

Candidates should possess a background that includes:

• Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding construction plans.
• Experience in electrical work, particularly in low voltage applications.
• Familiarity with computer networking principles as they relate to CCTV systems.
• Mechanical knowledge relevant to the installation of security equipment.
• Hands-on experience using hand tools and power tools in a professional setting.

Job Type: Contract
Pay: $23.34 - $50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 2 – 5 per week

• maintain CCTV cameras, digital video recorders (DVRs), and related equipment according to specifications.
• Conduct regular maintenance checks and troubleshoot any issues with existing systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation to ensure proper installation and functionality.
• Collaborate with construction teams to integrate CCTV systems into new builds or renovations.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during installations.
• Ensure compliance with low voltage electrical standards and safety regulations.
• Work with various sensors and intrusion detection systems (IDS) to enhance security measures.
• Provide technical support for computer hardware associated with CCTV systems.
• Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and maintenance activities.
