Description

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Health Education or other Health related field from a four-year college or university; or six years related experience and or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Heavy responsibility and accountability for successful program operations. Must be able to communicate effectively with the public for the purpose of giving and obtaining information. Must have a valid driver license and be insurable.

Responsibilities
  • Compose reports and submits them in a timely fashion to receptive reporting entities.
  • Develops and assists in the preparation of the annual application and budget for the program and submits it in accordance with established deadlines.
  • Coordinated program activities with community members and other Kaw Nation Programs.
  • Coordinates with Grants and Contracts to gain additional funding for the Kaw Nation Breast and Cervical Cancer Early Detection Program.
  • Design Evaluations
  • Conducts quantitative and qualitative analysis.
  • Develops prevention and intervention activities utilizing community assessment surveys, revision of literature and assessment of subsequent strategies.
  • Directly supervises two employees. Responsibilities include training new employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; and addressing complaints and resolving problems.
  • Assist with/complete any other job duties that may be assigned.
    All new hires will be required by the Kaw Nation to submit to a pre-employment drug screen. Failure to pass the pre hire drug screen will lead to withdrawal of the job offer or termination of employment. All new hires must be able to stand, walk, stoop, bend, kneel, pull, push and lift a minimum of 25 lbs.
