Our high-volume CDC will be the backbone of product movement within our 15-branch network, consolidating inventory replenishment, accelerating product flow, and driving operational efficiency. The top priority will be to ensure product moves accurately and efficiently out to and between the branches. The CDC will support high throughput, consistent product availability and reliable delivery, thereby reducing friction in the supply chain, and allowing our branches to provide outstanding customer service. The CDC will operate from 6a to 9p six days a week. We are building a team of 15+ employees where everyone connects with the top priority of serving our branches and commits to understanding and meeting the Key Performance Indicators, following detailed processes, and contributing to a high performing, safety-conscious environment. Position Summary As a Central Distribution Center (CDC) Inbound Lead at VP Supply Corp, you will oversee daily inbound warehouse operations to ensure orders are received, verified, processed, and stocked safely, accurately, and rapidly. This role will work in a system-oriented, highly mechanized, fast-paced and data-driven environment. The Inbound Lead trains and coaches associates on RF/WMS processes and standard work, maintains a clean and organized shipping area, and drives performance to KPIs such as productivity, receiving accuracy, dock-to-stock time, total lines received, and scan compliance. This position requires attention to detail, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Key Responsibilities Handle all warehouse inbound shipping Onboarding, continued training and accountability for the entire inbound warehouse team Read and interpret hand scanning devices, tablets, BOLs, order sheets and product codes, among other operational data Accurately receive all orders within standardized priority ranking in a fast-paced and high throughput operation Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and reach trucks (training provided, but prior training is preferred) Maintain team productivity standards and a cohesive, multi-shift operation Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Follow all company policies, safety guidelines, and standard operating procedures Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily operational goals Requirements Qualifications High school diploma or GED required 2-5 years of experience in a warehouse or distribution environment required Operational management required Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the required shift Basic math and reading comprehension skills required. Bill of Lading, Purchase Order processing and Sales Order reading and competency preferred Computer Skills required Customer Service skills preferred Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Strong, fast-paced work ethic and reliability Forklift and pallet jack and other Warehouse equipment training required. Prior history of certification preferred Familiarity with RF scanning equipment is a plus
