Responsibilities

PURPOSE OF JOB

The CCD specialist shall have a dedicated role in the first line of operations and the compliance officer will have an dedicated role in the second line role within JTC Institutional Services Netherlands B.V. (“JTC”) to ensure compliance requirements with applicable internal and external rules and regulations for clients and client entities related to AML (Anti-Money Laundering) regulation (Wtt, Wwft) and Sanction law.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

  • Partner with business development team and company lawyers to ensure that prospect projects are fully understood and that the on boarding activities from all teams are coordinated to deliver.
  • Collection and analysis of KYC and Due Diligence information via direct contact with the client.
  • Working with various internal teams to effectively manage on boarding requests including interaction and coordination on the involvement of compliance and finance teams.
  • Ensure JTC agreements are finalised and signed within the agreed deadline.
  • Enhance CDD department and organization standards through improvements to existing processes and tools to ensure consistent client on boarding experiences.
  • Remain up to date on new laws and regulations relevant for KYC that potentially affect the business.
  • Keep abreast of developments relevant to ensuring sound operations.
  • Help to develop and continuously improve compliance policies and involvement in projects for the company to implement new regulations.
  • Ensure that client due diligence and monitoring is properly performed.
  • conduct the client due diligence (“CDD”) process, contact clients regarding all required information requests and drafting the necessary documents and maintaining the compliance client folders.
  • Ensure that potential integrity risks are identified and managed and, that clients are served in accordance with applicable regulations and JTC’s internal policies.
  • Work closely together with the legal team on the re-acceptance process from initial prospect to client and perform the first line compliance monitoring during the client relationship.
  • Collaborate with the compliance team, in drafting, improving internal policies and keeping track of current developments related to client due diligence and anti-financial crime regulations.
  • Complete first line or second line compliance processes for (potential) clients to JTC.
  • Supervise the on boarding and re-acceptance process from A to Z, recommend and implement process improvements to create efficiencies for the organization.
