Title: CDL A Delivery Driver $3,000.00 Sign On-Bonus** Location: Everett, MA Manager: Delivery Manager Job Type: Full Time, Hourly, Non-Exempt Job Schedule: Monday - Friday 5:30am - 1:00pm - 5:00pm; depending on route and daily workload Pay Range: $30.00 - $39.00/hr Objective: Class A Drivers are responsible for safely operating our single tractor trailers —all equipped with automatic transmissions. Each route is supported by a Delivery Helper to assist with unloading and navigation. This position plays a key role in maintaining safe, efficient, and professional delivery service while upholding product quality standards. Essential Duties and Responsibilities * Operate company vehicle safely and in compliance with all traffic laws and regulations. * Deliver pre-sold products accurately and efficiently to customer accounts. * Rotate stock and place products appropriately in dry and refrigerated storage areas. * Ensure all pallets loaded onto the truck are secure and stable for transport. * Collect empty containers and returns as required by the supplier. * Load and return dunnage, pallets, and load bars to the supplier. * Maintain a courteous, professional, and respectful attitude toward customers and team members. * Complete the Daily Vehicle Inspection Report (DVIR) to report any maintenance or repair needs. Qualifications & Requirements * High school diploma or GED required. * Must be at least 21 years of age. This is a legal requirement to transport alcohol. * Active CDL Class A License in good standing. * Minimum of 1 year of experience operating tractor-trailers. * Strong safety-oriented mindset and adherence to safe driving practices. * Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. * Availability to work Monday through Friday starting at 5:30 AM; end times may vary between 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM depending on route and delivery volume. Core Competencies * Consistently practice safe driving habits. * Strong accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks. * Effective time management and organizational skills. * Excellent communication and customer service skills when interacting with clients and team members. Physical Demands & Work Environment * Work is performed both indoors and outdoors, often in varying weather conditions, including extreme heat or cold. * Must be able to stoop, bend, lift, and twist regularly. * Must be able to lift approximately 55 lbs (e.g., two cases of beer). * Must be able to operate a two-handed hand truck on inclines and stairs. * Requires frequent walking up and down stairs and inclines. * Must have sufficient vision and hearing to perform job duties safely and effectively.
