At Ameritread Truck Stop Supply, an Ecore company, we cull, refurbish and resell used tires, giving them a new lease on life as high-quality, certified reconstructed tires. With the waste, we recycle the rubber to create more than 1,500 different products, including high-performance flooring, pour-in-place playgrounds, athletic fields, mulch trails and more. We aim to rid the planet of rubber waste! Location: 1120 Green Spring Road, Newville, PA 17241 We are looking for a CDL-A Driver to join our team! Join us in our endeavor to rid the world of rubber waste! Salary Range: $25-$28/hr, based on experience Schedule: Mon – Fri (approx. 3 overnights per week) What You'll Do: Compliance and Safety: Comply with all Federal, State, and local regulations for the safe operation of a commercial motor vehicle Utilize ELD system for daily pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections Material Transfer: Transfer material to and from locations across multiple states to maintain production efficiency Documentation and Verification: Verify inspections, licenses, etc. Essential Experiences: High school diploma or GED Must possess a valid Class A Commercial Drivers License 2+ years' experience of on-the-road tractor trailer driving experience is required Must have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record Must be registered with the FMCSA Clearinghouse Must meet or exceed the medical standards of the U.S. Department of Transportation Ability to communicate effectively and work with little supervision Must be able to work a flexible schedule to meet operational requirements CDL Driver Perks: You will have your own, well maintained, truck (no slip seat) Trucks are automatic with sleepers Routes are drop & hook Company covers cost to maintain your CDL and medical certification Per diem for overnight runs What we offer you: Benefits: Employer‑sponsored medical, dental, vision, & life insurance; employee assistance program; short term & long term disability; 401(k) retirement savings plan with company match; Paid time off & 11 company paid holidays.
