Consistent freight helps support dependable miles and strong weekly earnings. Home Time and Running Areas This position is designed for drivers who want productive miles while still enjoying regular home time. Drivers typically spend 7-8 days on the road before returning home for a full 48-hour reset. Western regional freight allows drivers to stay productive while avoiding the Northeast corridor. Equipment Drivers operate late-model International LT trucks equipped with 71-inch sleepers, automatic transmissions, APUs, inverters, and space for a refrigerator. Equipment is maintained through Penske's nationwide maintenance network to help minimize downtime and keep drivers moving. Advanced ELD technology helps simplify daily operations, while aerodynamic enhancements and bobtail skirts support fuel efficiency and the company's fuel bonus program. Freight Freight consists of 100% no-touch dry van loads with a large percentage of drop-and-hook freight. This combination helps reduce delays, minimize dock time, and keep drivers focused on the road.
