Iron Road Logistics is seeking a dependable, safety-first CDL A Truck Driver, to transport equipment efficiently and professionally to customer and company locations. The driver will be responsible for handling equipment such as skid steers, mini excavators, tractors, lifts, and attachments, using flatbeds, lowboys, and equipment trailers. Drivers in this role are expected to be comfortable working around machinery, securing loads with chains and binders, and interacting professionally with customers on-site. This role requires strong attention to detail, clear communication, and a commitment to safe driving practices. Drivers are a key point of contact for customers and internal teams and play an important role in the overall customer experience.   Essential Duties & Responsibilities * Safely operate company trucks and tractor-trailers to transport equipment to and from designated locations. * Load, secure, and transport equipment in accordance with safety standards and regulations. * Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to identify mechanical or safety concerns. * Perform basic preventative maintenance checks and report issues promptly. * Maintain accurate logs of driving time, work/rest periods, and required documentation. * Retain and submit fuel, toll, and delivery receipts as required. * Comply with all applicable truck driving laws and regulations, including size, weight, routing, parking, and break requirements. * Follow all Iron Road Logistics company policies, safety procedures, and operational standards. * Work professionally with customers, Crownstone Equipment employees, and McGrew Equipment teams. * Perform other duties as assigned. Educational & Experience Requirements * Valid commercial driver’s license with a clean driving record. * Strong knowledge of DOT and applicable truck driving regulations. * Commitment to safety and responsible driving practices. * Ability to communicate professionally with customers and internal teams. Preferred Qualifications * DOT Medical Card preferred. * Experience hauling equipment or oversized loads preferred.   Essential Physical Requirements While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to fifty (50) pounds and may infrequently lift and/or move up to seventy-five (75) pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and peripheral vision.
