Description We are seeking reliable and safety-focused CDL-A OTR Drivers based out of Ogden, UT. This position offers consistent miles, a structured pay scale based on experience, and additional earnings through stops, detention, and layover pay. Drivers will operate tractor-trailers across regional and nationwide routes, ensuring timely and safe delivery of freight while maintaining compliance with DOT regulations and company standards. Compensation Mileage Pay (Based on Experience) 0 – 5 months: $0.45 CPM 6 – 12 months: $0.46 CPM 13 – 17 months: $0.50 CPM 18 – 24 months: $0.505 CPM 25 – 36 months: $0.51 CPM 37 – 48 months: $0.515 CPM 49 – 60 months: $0.52 CPM 61 – 72 months: $0.53 CPM 73 – 84 months: $0.535 CPM 85 – 96 months: $0.54 CPM 97 – 108 months: $0.545 CPM 109 – 120 months: $0.55 CPM 121+ months: $0.555 CPM Additional Pay Stop Pay: $20 per stop after the first two stops $25 for the fourth stop $30 for five stops or more Detention Pay: $16/hour after the first hour Must arrive on time with proper check-in (arrival call + BOL timestamps) Layover Pay: $25 per day Begins after 24 hours based on PTA and next scheduled pickup Paid every additional 24-hour period Responsibilities Operate a Class A commercial vehicle safely and efficiently on OTR routes Transport freight using 40 ft trailers or longer Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections Maintain accurate logs and required documentation Ensure on-time pickups and deliveries Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations teams Comply with all DOT regulations and company safety standards Requirements Valid CDL-A License Minimum 3 months of verified tractor-trailer experience Must be verifiable — candidates will not be hired without it Must meet one of the following recent experience requirements: At least 3 months of tractor-trailer experience within the last 12 months, OR Over the last 10 years, must have more time on the road than off the road Experience must include: At least 50% of driving time with a 40 ft trailer or longer Additional Requirements Clean driving record and ability to meet DOT requirements Ability to travel OTR for extended periods Strong safety awareness and time management skills Ability to handle long-haul driving demands Why Join Competitive mileage-based pay with structured increases Additional earnings through stops, detention, and layovers Consistent OTR freight Stable, full-time opportunity
