Description Pay: $24.00 – $27.00 per hour Location: Local / Regional Schedule: Mostly local routes with home every night; occasional overnight trips (a few per month) We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused CDL-A Truck Driver with Tanker Endorsement. This position is primarily local, allowing drivers to be home most nights, with limited overnight trips as needed. The ideal candidate takes pride in safe driving, equipment care, and representing a close-knit organization with professionalism and integrity. Safely transport recycled plastic materials, raw materials, and finished goods to and from customer and company locations. Operate tanker equipment in compliance with DOT regulations and company safety standards. Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and roadworthiness. Accurately maintain ELD logs, shipping documents, and delivery paperwork. Follow all DOT, FMCSA, and company policies at all times. Communicate effectively with dispatch and plant personnel regarding schedules, delays, or route changes. Load and unload materials as required, ensuring proper handling and securement. Maintain cleanliness and general upkeep of assigned equipment. Represent the company professionally when interacting with customers, vendors, and the public. Requirements Qualifications Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL-A) with Tanker Endorsement required. Clean driving record and ability to maintain CDL qualifications. Prior tanker or bulk material hauling experience required. Ability to pass background checks, drug screening, and DOT physical. Skills & Competencies Safe driving practices and strong knowledge of DOT regulations. Ability to manage time effectively and meet delivery schedules. Physical ability to handle loading/unloading tasks when required. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Familiarity with plastic recycling or manufacturing processes is a plus.
Responsibilities

Responsibilities also include performing thorough vehicle inspections, accurately maintaining logs and paperwork, and handling material loading and unloading as necessary.
