Description Compensation $23 - $24 Hourly Full Benefit Package Health Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Plan (Employer Contributes 50/100, 6%) HSA (Employer Contributes $552 Annually) Life Insurance 1-3 Weeks Paid Time-Off Summary The CDL Asphalt Crew Member position performs a variety of routine and complex transportation and physical labor tasks. This position will spend approximately 20% driving and 80% assisting other crewmen by operating a variety of hand/power tools and heavy machinery to clean and prepare sites, apply pavement preservation products, and setup/remove cones and carpet. Essential Functions Loads/unloads trucks, and hauls materials to the job site. Performs strenuous manual labor in preparing surfaces for pavement repair and maintenance. Conducts pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections. Works with team members to apply pavement preservation products such as seal coat and HA5 high-density mineral bond. Maintains a clean job site: picks up all tools and equipment and secures job site each day to eliminate potential hazards. Complies with all safety, OSHA, and DOT regulations. Preferably has three months or more of related work experience. Preferably has a valid CDL Class A license with tanker endorsement. Days and hours may vary depending on the size and nature of the project. This position frequently requires long hours and weekend work (often 20-40 hours of overtime each week).
