Description Job Overview: An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Petroleum Tank Wagon Driver to join our team. This role requires a professional driver to operate a motor vehicle with a gross weight of 54,000lbs, ensuring safe and efficient transportation of petroleum products. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Safely and efficiently drives commercial vehicles Monday through Friday and occasional weekends and holidays in all types of weather conditions Loads, unloads and moves fuels safely from fuel terminal to customer or company locations in a timely manner Follows company policies and federal and state regulations Keeps a safe record regarding accidents, driving record, injuries and other actions/events, following all company safety guidelines Maintains clean equipment, uniforms and cab space, ensuring any repairs are communicated promptly Completes accurate and timely documentation for delivery of product, volume of delivery, and inventory control management Appropriately uses internal systems, hand held devices, and other electronic equipment for work purposes Takes direction from dispatchers and/or managers, following delivery instructions and maintaining good working relationship Communicates with team members, management and customers in a professional and courteous manner Stays calm and level headed in stressful situations and refrains from emotional outbursts Adopts new methods, procedures and changes in a positive manner Offers suggestions to improve efficiencies and solutions to solve problems Requirements Must be at least 21 years of age or older Commercial Driver's License, Class A or B Hazmat and Tanker (X) endorsement or willing to obtain upon hire Excellent driving record 6-12 months commercial driving experience Good customer service, computer, and communication skills Able to work rotational on-call nights and weekends Must be able to read and write English
