Description
Description Location: Based in Chicago/Chicagoland Area (Statewide Deployment) Job Type: Full-Time, Salaried Ready to Drive the Mission Across Illinois We are bringing the "MRA Fun and Excitement" to the Midwest! We are seeking a professional, high-energy CDL B Lead Operator to pilot our brand-new educational and community-driven mobile tour. From the iconic skyline of the Windy City to the historic town squares of Southern Illinois, you will be the face of this tour. This isn’t just a "driving" gig—it’s an experiential role where you manage a high-tech, large-scale mobile environment that brings people together. If you take "OCD-level" pride in your vehicle and love the thrill of a new tour launch, we want you behind the wheel. The Illinois Mission: Navigate the State: You’ll be the master of the Illinois roads. One day you’re navigating the Magnificent Mile and the narrow streets of Lincoln Park; the next, you’re cruising down to Springfield, Peoria, or Carbondale. Be the Face of the Tour: You are the first person our clients and community partners see. You’ll provide a "white-glove" welcome to all guests. No teaching required—just top-tier hospitality and brand advocacy. The "Clean Bus" Standard: This bus is our flagship. You will be responsible for keeping it "showroom ready" inside and out. Organization is key—everything has a place, and you’ll ensure the interior remains a pristine, welcoming environment for our educational partners. Operational Excellence: Manage daily set-up and strike of the tour footprint. You’ll handle the logistics of a large-scale bus, ensuring all onboard systems are running smoothly for our visitors. Road Warrior Life: Enjoy the journey! This role involves statewide travel. When you’re away from home base, we’ve got you covered with premium hotel accommodations and a daily per diem. Requirements What You Bring to the Team: Licensing: Valid Class B CDL with Air Brake and Passenger (P) endorsements is mandatory. Experience: 5+ years Local Expertise: You know your way around Chicago and the surrounding suburbs. You understand "The Junction," the height restrictions of the city, and how to plan routes that avoid the worst of the I-90/94 gridlock. The "MRA" Vibe: You have high energy, a positive "can-do" attitude, and you genuinely enjoy interacting with a diverse range of people. Meticulous Nature: You’re the type of person who notices a smudge on the window or a flyer out of place and fixes it immediately. Reliability: You’re ready and excited about the prospect of a full-time, salaried position with a stable, growing tour. Flexibility: Willingness to be on the road for several weeks at a time, representing the tour with professionalism 24/7. The Rewards: Competitive Salary: No more counting miles or hours; enjoy the stability of a full-time salary. Full Benefits: Health, dental, vision, and retirement options. Travel Perks: High-quality hotel stays and daily meal per diem while on tour. Community Impact: Be part of a project that actually makes a difference in communities across Illinois. New Equipment: You’ll be driving a top-of-the-line, large-scale bus with the latest tech. Does this sound like your next great route? Apply today by sending your resume and a quick note about your favorite spot to visit in Illinois. Let's get this show on the road!
