Job Details Job Location: Burton Office - Burton, MI 48519 Education Level: High School Salary Range: $20.00 Hourly Travel Percentage: None Job Category: Transportation Kett Engineering is looking for hard-working and detail-oriented drivers to join our team based in Burton, MI. Drivers will be responsible for driving cab-over box trucks and providing detailed feedback and documentation on the vehicles performance. PAY RATE: $20/HR. APPROXIMATE SHIFT TIMES: 1st Shift- 6:00 am - 2:30 pm 2nd Shift- 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm Duration: Approximately 22 weeks RESPONSIBILITIES: Complete pre and post trip inspections Check ballast securement at each engine start Complete all required paperwork and reports Ensure that the data acquisition & GPS tracking systems are operating properly Drive for extended periods of time while following designated routes as assigned, driving safely and responsibly. Document ALL issues in detailed reports REQUIREMENTS: Valid CDL B Driver's License Current DOT medical card Clean driving record for a minimum of 3 years, no DUI/DWAI convictions Ability to pass background check, drug screen and pre-employment defensive driving course High school graduate or equivalent Complete all training, accurately communicate verbally and written, follow directions, and be reliable.
