Benefits: Overtime Pay Bonus based on performance Paid time off Position Overview Supporting a local transportation company, the Class A Driver will report to a base location in south-central Maine. Routes do not go beyond New England and are typically towards the Boston area. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with a 4:30-5:00 am start time and overtime opportunities available. Pay is hourly, with multiple bonus incentive programs based on the route type completed. Responsibilities Operate vehicles of the fleet as assigned, including flatbeds and vans. Perform deliveries and back hauls (typically 1-2 stops per day). Stay on a predetermined route and ensure timely deliveries. Maintain driving and delivery logs. Report maintenance issues in accordance with Company procedure. Abide by proper safety guidelines. Follow traffic laws and regulations. Additional tasks as needed. Qualifications A valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License is required. 2+ years of incident-free commercial driving experience is preferred. Flatbed experience strongly preferred, but not required. Required to pass pre-employment drug screening. Required to complete Department of Transportation (DOT) physical. No more than 3 Motor Vehicle Record infractions within the last 3 years. Reliable; able to report to work on time daily. Able to work independently. Must be able to sit for long durations; twist, turn, bend, stand, climb, kneel, and walk as required to perform the duties associated with the driver role.
