Job Description The Driver - Cross Dock is a non touch freight position and responsible for driving tractor and trailer to transport and deliver products from the distribution center to the sales center. What your day will look like: Completes pre-trip and post trip inspections Drives tractor trailers between sales centers Operate a forklift Assist Warehouse department with loading and unloading of trucks What you need to succeed: Minimum age 21 years old Class A Commercial Valid Driver’s License required, and obligation to maintain compliance with UNITED fleet policy Ability to obtain Doubles Endorsement within 30-45 days of hire date, if applicable Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by position and compliance with UNITED safety policies Regular and prompt attendance is an essential function of the job Ability to read, write and speak English  Ability to maintain a neat professional appearance within Company guidelines Ability to maintain safety and security of Company assets Ability to utilize all Company provided resources and technology High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 12 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience Ability to become forklift certified Ability to provide quality management  Ability to demonstrate teamwork  Willingness to work weekends, holidays, or flexible schedule as required Performs appropriate duties as assigned by management Physical Requirements Position will be required to comply with the CCBCU Personal Protective Equipment Program.
