Position Summary: As a CDL Delivery Driver at Colours, Inc., you’ll play a key role in ensuring our products reach our store locations on time and in perfect condition. You’ll be the face of our company during deliveries, providing exceptional customer service while maintaining the highest safety and compliance standards. This position will have a set schedule every other week to begin with. Because of this there will be warehouse responsibilities. Warehouse and Forklift experience is a plus. Requirements Key Responsibilities: **Delivery schedule will run every other week throughout the New England territory utilizing a 26-ft box truck. Time spent not on transfer runs will be spent assisting in warehouse/store duties. ** This position operates on a first-shift schedule, Monday through Friday, with no overnight travel required. · Operate a company owned commercial vehicle 16’ straight truck (14,500 GVW) (Class A or B CDL with Haz-Mat Endorsement) to transport products safely between Colours locations across [Maine through Massachusetts]. · Ensure accurate loading, securing, transporting, and unloading of inventory during deliveries. · Verify shipment accuracy by checking orders before and after transport to prevent discrepancies. · Operate material handling equipment including forklifts, manual and electric pallet jacks, and liftgates as required. · Perform warehouse duties as assigned when not completing delivery routes, including receiving, stocking, order preparation, inventory organization, and general warehouse support. · Maintain vehicle cleanliness, perform routine vehicle inspections, and report maintenance issues promptly. · Follow all DOT regulations, company safety policies, and transportation compliance standards. · Maintain accurate delivery documentation and records as required. · Lift and move products weighing 50 lbs or more as needed to support operations. Qualifications: · Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with HazMat endorsement required. · Must have a clean driving record. · Current and valid medical certification required. · Ability to pass required drug screening and criminal background checks. · Experience operating forklifts, manual/electric pallet jacks, and liftgates. · Ability to safely operate both manual and automatic transmission vehicles (as applicable). · Willingness to perform warehouse duties in addition to driving responsibilities. · Ability to lift up to 50 lbs or more as required.
