The Industrial CDL Route Delivery Driver/Customer Service Rep delivers and exchanges full cylinders and liquid vessels for empty ones, delivers freight to customers on a weekly route stop, and is responsible for serving walk-in customers and phone-in customers. Schedule is Monday through Friday and home every night.  Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to: * Loads and unloads freight and accurately fills out truck manifest * Accurately fills out gas invoices * Delivers freight and gas cylinders to customers * Take basic orders from customers when needed * Adhere to all established procedures, policies and safety rules * Greet customers in a professional and enthusiastic way * Answer telephone calls promptly * Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of products, placement, availability, price and use * Sell welding and safety products and services to customer * Process customer orders and accurately input customer order into the computer * Research products needed for customer special applications * Follow up on customer orders not processed correctly and remedy situation * Keep accurate cash till and run daily cash reports * Stock shelves when needed * Performs other tasks as assigned or necessary * Pay $22-$24/Hr Qualifications * 1 year verifiable city delivery experience preferred * No at fault accidents or DOT moving violations in the past 3 years * Minimum of Class B CDL with Hazardous Material endorsement or ability to obtain through in house training program * Excellent driving record * Basic understanding of welding machines and related tools * Ability to perform tasks requiring manual dexterity (writing invoices, picking up small cylinders, rolling large cylinders, pushing cylinder cart, hand trucks, steering truck, etc.) * Good organizational skills * Ability to work safely around special hazards (i.e. mechanical – operating lift gate, and explosives – haul and work around flammable gas and non-flammable gas) * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Excellent customer service skills * Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs and occasionally lift up to 100 lbs * Ability to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods of time Additional information Norco offers a competitive compensation/benefit package, including: * Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) * Health, Vision and Dental Insurance * Health Savings Account (HSA)  * Medical and Dependent Care Flex Accounts (FSA) * Life Insurance provided at no cost to employee by Norco through United Heritage * Supplemental Accident, Disease, and Life Insurance through Colonial Life Insurance * Employee Tuition Reimbursement * 401(k) with Employer Matching * Employee Discount on products sold by Norco Company Description Founded in 1948, Norco is headquartered in Boise, Idaho and has more than 70 branches in Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Nevada, Washington, Utah and Wyoming.
