CDL Delivery Driver   Job Summary: Hog Slat, Inc., the world’s leading provider of parts, equipment and turn-key construction to the swine & poultry industries is seeking a CDL Delivery Driver to deliver products from our Humboldt, IA warehouse to other Hog Slat retail locations and customer farms. As a CDL Delivery Driver, your primary responsibilities will include loading, transporting and delivering products to designated locations. This position is dedicated and driver will be home daily. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other functions may be assigned as business conditions change. * Necessary to have some mechanical aptitude * Use of basic hand tools is a must * Ability to perform pre-trip inspection to ensure loads are secured correctly * Ensure all required wide load signage and flags are in place and visible * Responsible for truck/trailer and all safety equipment being in proper working condition * Be professional and courteous at all times Skill/Knowledge Required: The ideal candidate will have the following experience/educational background: * Must have a current/valid medical card or possess the ability to obtain one * Must comply with all Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration Regulations * Class A CDL is required * Approved safe driving record * Flexible to work in house when no deliveries are on schedule  * Must have forklift experience  * Minimum of 3 yrs experience is preferred   Hog Slat Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, national origin, age disability, veteran status or any other reason prohibited under Federal State or local laws.
