Job Details Job Location: EZ Loader Spokane - Spokane, WA 99202 Position Type: Part Time Salary Range: $20.00 - $25.00 Hourly Summary: The Driver is responsible for the safe and reliable delivery of our trailers/parts to our customers. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned as necessary to carry out essential job functions, included but not limited to: Transport finished goods and raw materials over land to and from distribution centers Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance Plan routes and meet delivery schedules Document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions Collect and verify delivery instructions Report defects, accidents or violations All Employees Follow Mission, Vision & Values. Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner so that you get along with customers, clients, co-workers and management. Continue to grow lean knowledge and use the tools to identify and assist with continuous improvement. Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas. Qualifications Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Skills And Knowledge (general): Proven work experience as a truck driver Hands on experience with electronic equipment and software (GPS, AVL units, CB etc) Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations No recent moving or driving violations Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc) Valid truck driving license Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and one year related experience. Computer training and/or experience required. Prior warehouse and parts experience highly preferred. Valid Driver’s License required. Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL). Physical Requirements: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, use their hands and arms; talk and hear; and focus on objects close up. The employee is frequently required to walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms .The employee is required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
