Description Job Summary: Operate commercial vehicles to transport goods or passengers safely and efficiently. Comply with traffic laws, regulations, and company policies. Ensure vehicle safety through inspections and maintenance. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members. Handle paperwork accurately and in a timely manner. Respond professionally to customer inquiries or concerns. Report accidents, incidents, or violations to appropriate authorities. Requirements Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. Valid and up-to-date medical card. Possession of a valid CDL with appropriate endorsements. Clean driving record with no major violations or accidents. Knowledge of traffic laws and safe driving practices. Physical fitness for loading/unloading cargo or assisting passengers. Excellent communication skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and follow directions effectively. Flexibility to work varied schedules, including weekends and holidays. Prior experience in commercial driving preferred. Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently. Working Conditions: Long hours on the road transporting goods. Exposure to diverse weather, terrains, and road conditions. Physical demands, including heavy lifting. Time pressure to adhere to delivery schedules. Interaction with customers or clients in some roles. Responsible for vehicle maintenance and safety compliance. Potential for long-distance travel and occasional overnight stays. Prioritize safety and remain alert while driving. Physical Requirements: Prolonged sitting while driving. Occasional heavy lifting (loading/unloading). Exposure to outdoor elements. Focus and alertness while driving.
