Let’s take a closer look at the role. Job Description TA Services is seeking experienced Class A CDL drivers with at least 2 years of CDL driving experience. The route will be two trips per day from Janesville to Mineral Point. Shift: 1st Shift: 2 drivers | 5:00 AM – 4:00 PM 2nd Shift: 5 drivers | 2:00 PM – 1:00 AM Responsibilities Transport finished goods and/or raw materials to and from manufacturing plants or retail/distribution centers Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, along with light preventative maintenance Ensure compliance with all DOT regulations and internal company policies Safely maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions Report vehicle defects, accidents, or violations promptly Work Environment Fast-paced, on-the-road and loading dock environments Exposure to outdoor weather conditions Physical work, including occasional lifting, climbing, and extended sitting while driving Qualifications Education High School Diploma or GED required Experience Minimum of 2 years of CDL driving Previous experience in commercial driving or similar transportation roles preferred Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELDs) and basic vehicle maintenance Comfortable with GPS and route planning technology Basic Requirements: Must be at least 23 years old No DWI/DUI on MVR in the past 3 years No more than one at-fault accident on MVR within the past 3 years Must pass pre-employment physical and DOT drug screen Personality Traits Team player with a positive attitude Willingness to jump in where needed "Whatever it takes" mentality Safety-minded and dependable Additional Information Pay/Benefits/Perks $27.50/hr Accrue up to five days PTO in first year. Two-weeks vacation, plus one week PTO accrue on first anniversary.
