Description Class A CDL Driver (Local Routes, No Overnight Runs) Robbins Lumber is currently seeking a reliable and professional Class A CDL Driver to join our team, specializing in local deliveries with no overnight travel. This is an excellent opportunity for drivers who prefer to stay close to home while maintaining a consistent schedule. Key Responsibilities: - Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver goods to various local destinations - Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations to ensure secure transportation - Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure proper functioning - Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation - Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to coordinate delivery schedules - Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding safety and operational standards Skills and Qualifications: - Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) - Proven experience as a CDL driver, preferably with local delivery routes - Clean driving record with a focus on safety - Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations - Excellent time management and organizational skills - Ability to perform vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks - Good communication skills and a professional attitude - Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately Join our team and enjoy a stable, local driving position with a company that values safety, reliability, and employee growth.
