Description
CDL Driver Tasks (brief description of the tasks the applicant will be responsible for) Ensure the safe, efficient and accurate movement of goods and materials into and throughout the plant by utilizing the material management systems. Unload raw materials from trucks and store in the appropriate storage areas. Transport raw materials to the production lines and other areas of the plant. Responsible for stock rotation, physical inventory, and cycle counts needed. Maintain a clean orderly work space; responsible for daily warehouse sanitation tasks and basic GMPs. Scan inventory movement. Operate powered trucks following safety guidelines. Perform additional tasks as needed to include, but not limited to cross training on other machines and/or in other areas.   Requirements (minimum requirements in order to be considered for the job) Must have 3.0 attendance occurrences or less, no more than 1 active disciplinary action, and must have been in current position for at least 6 months. Must currently have a CDL Driver Class-A License with 1+ years required. Current or previous forklift license; experience operating industrial trucks.  Climb ladder to sifter platforms. Knowledge of SQF & SAP. Experience in using sanitation chemicals and mechanically inclined. Spotter experience is needed but not necessary. Practice good safety habits and have a good safety record. Practice good manufacturing practices (GMP’s). Have and maintain good attendance. Perform additional tasks as needed to include, but not limited to cross training in other areas.
Responsibilities
Responsible for the safe and efficient movement of raw materials throughout the plant using material management systems. Tasks include unloading trucks, transporting materials to production lines, and maintaining warehouse sanitation and inventory accuracy.
