In this role, you will operate a commercial motor vehicle and play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of our beverages to customers. Job Details: Schedule: There are multiple start times for our driving team. The shift/hours will be explained during the interview. Please note that this is a union role, and shifts can change based on seniority. Follow predetermined delivery routes and schedules, ensuring on-time and accurate deliveries while adapting to various traffic and weather conditions. Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies to ensure the well-being of yourself, other road users, and the cargo Safely load and unload beverage products utilizing proper handling techniques to prevent damage or breakage. May stock beverage products and maintain back rooms/back stock areas as requested by the store or management. Pick up and return pallets, shells and assigned product at each delivery location Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to identify and report any maintenance or safety issues Utilize electronic devices or paper documentation to confirm deliveries, track inventory, and maintain accurate records. Collaborate with logistics team to ensure accurate inventory counts and resolve any discrepancies. Communicate effectively with supervisors and dispatchers to provide updates on delivery progress, delays, or issues Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle, both internally and externally Interact professionally with store personnel and establish positive relationships with store managers and staff Maintain valid CDL-A license Complete all assigned training Attend meetings as assigned and assist with special projects and events Requirements: High School Diploma (or GED) and/or equivalent degree/certificate required CDL-A License required Interstate License required Ability to drive manual transmission preferred Must be at least 21 years of age Driving record must meet Swire’s vehicle policy requirements Ability to work weekends and holidays as directed by the business; flexibility to adapt to changing schedules, routes, and delivery demands Ability to lift up to 50 pounds; physical capability to lift and move heavy beverage cases repeatedly throughout the day Must be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with customer, clients, and team members Apply Now and Share a Coke with Swire!
