USESI is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Driver (CDL) to join our team. This position will be located in Landover, MD Job Type: Full-time Key Responsibilities: * Make all deliveries in a safe, professional, and courteous manner. * Pick up material from our Central Distribution Center and transfer it to the branch location. * Complete local deliveries to job sites. * Check vehicles for safety and proper maintenance on a daily basis, including insuring proper loading and drivers logs being completed. * Complying with all D.O.T. regulations. Completing all required company and D.O.T. paperwork. * Advise dispatcher of problems or delays as they occur during your delivery run. * Complete all documentation for deliveries including preparation of logs, customer signatures on logs, and out of state mileage logs. * Reporting vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations or damage to the vehicles. * Advise management of problems or delays during your delivery route. * Other duties as assigned by Manager Qualifications and Skills: * Ability to operate warehouse equipment * At least 1 year of experience operating a 26-foot box truck * Must be strongly independent. * Must have a valid Class-B CDL driver's license and will be required to obtain a current DOT medical card. * Must meet all DOT requirements, including applicable testing, and maintain a driving record that meets company standards. * Customer Service Experience and Driving Experience * Must be able to communicate with all levels of customers, providing excellent customer service Benefits: At USESI, we believe that our benefits should make a difference--to you, your job, and the life you lead outside of work.
