Essential Duties and Responsibilities * Safely operate and maintain a fuel delivery truck to transport and deliver fuel to various client locations. * Plan and execute efficient delivery routes to meet customer demands and delivery schedules. * Load and unload bulk fuel using appropriate equipment and follow established safety protocols. * Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the proper functioning of the delivery vehicle. * Maintain accurate and up-to-date delivery records, including quantities delivered, locations, and customer signatures. * Provide excellent customer service, addressing inquiries and concerns professionally during delivery stops. * Collaborate with the logistics team to coordinate delivery schedules and optimize routes for efficiency. * Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines, including the proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials. * Report any vehicle maintenance issues promptly and work with the maintenance team to ensure timely repairs. * Maintain a clean and organized delivery truck, ensuring it is stocked with necessary supplies and equipment. Qualifications * Minimum 5 years of verifiable driving experience. * Minimum 3 years tanker experience. * Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements. * Clean background with no felonies. * Excellent communication and customer service skills. * Ability to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced environment. * Physical fitness and stamina to perform manual tasks and operate delivery equipment. * Familiarity with DOT regulations. * Operating and reliable cell phone (Dispatch and GPS coordinates). Education High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required Class A or B CDL w/ hazmat & tanker endorsements (Required) Relocation This position is not eligible for relocation. Travel Requirements Local and Regional Areas Availability to travel for disaster response, a plus Work Schedule/Benefits Able to work a rotating schedule (Typically 5/2) - May have to work weekends and holidays.
