Description The Fuel Truck Driver is responsible for delivery and service of a group of liquid fuel customers. This includes delivery of products as needed. High value is placed on service and retaining the customers. Responsibilities: Deliver energy products to the customer on a timely basis Respond to emergency service calls as needed Maintain timely, accurate records on sales and inventories Always maintain safety standards Maintain daily communications with the department manager Seek opportunities to sell additional products and services Operate within the standards set by USDOT and FMCSR Requirements Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Knowledge of Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations Knowledge of basic commercial truck maintenance Ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of individuals Ability to follow established processes Basic knowledge of computers and basic software Ability to manage time effectively Education: High school degree or equivalent CDL license with the appropriate endorsements Physical Requirements: Able to reach, pull and lift 50+ lbs Able to handle repetitive lift and pull motion Able to read documents with fine print Able to use a keyboard Able to hear effectively on the phone This job description is not inclusive of all duties and responsibilities of this role.
