Description Plaisted Companies has openings for a dependable, safety-focused Class A CDL Driver to support our Sand & Gravel Division during peak season (spring through early fall). This role involves hauling aggregates and materials using dump truck, end dump, pup & truck, and flatbed equipment. Drivers interested in year-round work may have the opportunity to cross-train and assist our Propane Division during late fall and winter months. Responsibilities Safely operate company trucks and trailers to haul sand, gravel, and other materials Operate a dump truck, End dump, Pup & truck, Flatbed Follow DOT regulations and company safety policies Complete accurate daily paperwork, delivery tickets, and logs Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections Report maintenance needs and safety concerns promptly Communicate clearly with dispatch, customers, and team members Qualifications Valid Class A CDL Clean driving record (no more than one moving violation in past 2 years) Strong safety mindset, reliability, and customer service skills Ability to pass a 5-panel drug test and physical exam Willingness to obtain Hazmat/Tanker endorsement in the future (if needed) Plaisted Companies Core Values: Team Player • Honesty/Integrity • Positive Attitude • Customer Above All Else • Commitment to Excellence Requirements Must hold Class A CDL- No more than one moving violation in the previous 2 years Pass a 5 Panel Drug test (Urinalysis) Pass a Back and Extremity exam Be 21yrs + of age Unexpired Medical Card Our Core Values: Team Player, Honesty/Integrity, Enthusiastic/Energetic/Positive, Customer above All Else and Commitment to Excellence
