At Great Lakes Testing, we are hiring CDL Third-Party Examiners to conduct state CDL exams and ensure drivers are properly tested for safety and compliance. No prior third-party examiner certification is required—we provide training and full support to help you obtain certification through the Department of Public Safety (DPS) and complete DPS-approved examiner training. With locations across multiple states, we offer career stability and opportunities for growth within our network of testing centers. Responsibilities Administer CDL Exams – Conduct Pre-Trip Inspections, Yard Skills, and Road Tests following state and federal guidelines. Ensure Compliance & Safety – Evaluate candidates based on CDL testing standards while reinforcing safe driving habits. Maintain Accurate Records – Document all examination results thoroughly to meet state regulatory requirements. Requirements Requirements Valid IN CDL Class A license Minimum 3 years of CDL A driving experience. Safe driving record and ability to pass DOT physical and drug/alcohol screening. Physical ability to operate a Class A motor vehicle safely. Strong communication skills (verbal and written). Thorough knowledge of CDL driving standards, regulations, and best practices. Basic computer skills for record-keeping and scheduling. Availability to work Monday through Friday. High school diploma or GED. Experience as a CDL instructor is a plus, but not required.
