JOB BRIEF

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Chef De Partie to join our team.
Suncliff Hotels aim to set ourselves apart from others with a level of service and attention to detail that is second to none and an atmosphere that can only be described as a home-from-home. We put the guest at the heart of everything we do.
The position involves assisting senior chefs on duty with storage, preparation and cooking of all food items from the menu, ensuring the kitchen runs smoothly and maintaining high general hygiene and cleanliness standards.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 1 Year experience required in a similar role
  • Knowledge of the hospitality industry
  • Relevant training and culinary qualifications
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Having a “can do” attitude and willingness to learn
  • High standard of personal hygiene and appearance
  • Highly motivated and focused
  • Ability to work unsupervised
  • Great attention to detail
  • Have a legal right to work in the UK
Responsibilities
  • Assisting with the smooth running of the kitchen production areas
  • Preparation of all food items as per the menu
  • Contributing ideas for new menus
  • Maintaining the kitchen work areas in accordance with HACCP/EHO regulations
  • Making sure kitchen equipment is in good working order and reporting any faults
  • Keeping the storerooms well stocked and organised at all times
